The Scottish Esperanto Association has decided that the 100th Scottish Esperanto Congress will take place in the seaside town of Largs, Ayrshire, from the 10th to 13th June 2005.

Arrangements are currently being made by Jean Bisset, the Scottish President.

The Congress venue will be the Priory House Hotel, which is magnificently situated on the promenade with stunning views of Cumbrae. Special rates for participants have been negotiated.

Work has already begun on an outstanding programme for a unique event. It is hoped that one of the major themes will be the Scottish School.

There has never been a break in the run of Scottish Congresses; so this Congress has the highest number in the Esperanto world.
