Urso-Kurso

If your Latin is still hidden deep in your mind or if you are a zoologist, you will guess that the above title alludes to the "Bear Course"! Yes; the Latin for bear is ursus and the Esperanto word urso come straight from the Latin.

Urso-Kurso is an outstanding Esperanto course for children of primary school age. It is amusing and also an effective teaching instrument. Moreover, it is a good introduction to languages per se (if you forgive the Latin once more!). A child will, by means of Esperanto, acquire a head start for learning other languages; not that Esperanto is not intrinsically worth learning.
