None of the existing web courses are perfect; but it is certainly possible to learn the language by means of them if you are motivated! Esperanto Viva!This is a 10 lesson course which endeavours to relate the material to Esperanto culture and the Esperanto community. It is a hugely ambitious enterprise existing in many language, although the primary course is in English. Esperanto Viva! is certainly worth trying. The author still regards it as a beta product and will welcome comments from learners if they have approached the course with diligence. Why not give it a try?
