Archive Esperanto en Skotlando Esperanto en Skotlando was founded in 1947. It is the official organ of the Scottish
Esperanto Association and is published twice per annum. It is a news and cultural magazine with a strong but not exclusive Scottish emphasis.
It is mostly in Esperanto, but with brief English summaries and occasional longer articles
in English about important Esperanto events. The Editor is Ed Robertson; the language consultant is Tom Neil. It has had a succession of distinguished editors, including William Auld, Albert
Goodheir and Hugh Martin. It was the periodical in which many of the poems written by the
Scottish School (a famous trio of Scottish Esperanto authors) first appeared. Articles (which are welcomed from anywhere in the world) or enquiries re possible
contributions should be sent to the Editor. Contributions should preferably be sent electronically as plain text or as Microsoft
Word documents. If the format or font used does not support the Esperanto accented
characters, please use a recognised convention instead, such as the H-alphabet, the
X-alphabet, or the TRENHA system. (He is also prepared to accept typewritten submissions;
but would prefer Esperanto characters not to be used to make scanning possible) Deadline for Esperanto en Skotlando: 14th February 2004.
