Esperanto Congress in Inverness

The 103rd Scottish Esperanto Congress will take place in Inverness, the Capital of the Highlands.

The venue will be the Ramada Hotel, Church Street, Inverness; the dates will be 6/8 June 2008.

The theme of the Congress will be Highland Culture with lectures about the Clearances, Highland railways, Neil Gunn, the Celtic music scale, the monuments and language of the Picts; and much more.

There will be a scenic excursion to Dunrobin Castle, a town walk of Dornoch, and a banquet in the Castle Hotel, Dornoch, followed by an after-dinner speech.

Inverness is in the midst of many attractions; so a longer stay would be justified.

Accommodation in the city is filling rapidly; so timeous booking of accommodation is urged.
