Dr. Chris Gledhill becomes Vice President

The Scottish Esperanto Association is delighted to inform its members that Dr. Chris Gledhill has accepted the post of Vice President.

Chris has been lecturer in Linguistics and French at St. Andrews University since 1997; previously he lectured at Birmingham University.

In 1998 he wrote the important monograph The Grammar of Esperanto: a corpus-based description. His translation into Esperanto of The Hobbit has just been published: Chris translated the prose; Bill Auld the poetry.
