Congress / Kongreso
The annual Congress usually takes place any time between March and July and the date is usually chosen to avoid conflicting with the British Esperanto Congress.
However, the next Congress will be a joint Congress with the Esperanto-Asocio de Britio. It will take place on 20th, 21st and 22nd of April 2012 in St Georges West Church Centre, Shandwick Place, Edinburgh. The main speaker will be Istvan Ertl and there will be excursions to the Scottish Parliament Building and to Holyrood Palace. A two day Postkongreso will follow on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th April consisting of excursions to Rosslyn Chapel (famous from the Da Vinci Code), the Falkirk Wheel, the mediaeval Mary King's Close, Glasgow and a Whisky Distillery near Loch Lomond.
La Kongreso okazas iam inter marto kaj julio, kaj oni kutime elektas daton por eviti konflikton kun la Brita Kongreso de Esperanto.
La venonta Kongreso tamen estos kuna Kongreso kun Esperanto-Asocio de Britio. Ĝi okazos la 20an, 21an kaj 22an de aprilo en St Georges West Church Centre, Shandwick Place, Edinburgo. La ĉefparolanto estos Istvan Ertl kaj okazos ekskursoj al la Skota Parlamentejo kaj la Palaco de Holyrood. Sekvos Postkongreso dutaga lundon 23an kaj mardon 24an de aprilo. Ĝi konsistos el ekskursoj al Rosslyn Chapel (fama pro la Kodo Da Vinci), la Rado de Falkirk, la mezepoka Strateto de Mary King, Glasgovo kaj Viski-distilejo apud Lago Lomond.
