How to learn Esperanto

New Esperanto course

The new Esperanto course based on Stano Marček's "Esperanto by Direct Method" is now well under way once a month at 38 Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow G2 4PS (Quaker Meeting House).
We will run the whole course again from September 2010.

The advantage of the direct method is that learning is achieved using visual cues, actions, mime etc. to associate meaning to words and phrases ... in much the same way we learn our native language as children.
S-ro Marček's course is also structured in such a way that the learner meets the most common Esperanto words first. This way the learner is able to put together useful sentences from very early on.

Participants will be asked for a small fee to cover room hire. It is also recommended for those wishing to participate in the course to purchase the accompanying book @ £7.45.

If you are interested in joining the class next year please register your interest by emailing Hugh Reid.
